Nani (なに) is a Japanese idol and member of the idol group You’ll Melt More! (ゆるめるモ！), where she represents the colour green. She joined the group on February 7, 2020, after previously being part of the trainee unit Pupil More! (ぴゅーぴるモ！).
Before becoming an idol, Nani worked at an izakaya called 豆腐料理 空野, which she recommends visiting as a pilgrimage spot, noting that the food and drinks are delicious. While working there, You’ll Melt More! visited one day and left their business card. At the time, she was attending a vocational school related to fashion, but things were not going well and she was skipping classes. Unsure of what to do next, she contacted the agency. They replied that they were looking for candidates for the trainee group Pupil More!, and she applied.
Shortly before becoming an official member of You’ll Melt More!, Nani formed a duo called Nani’n’Nerun? with fellow trainee Nerun. The duo was created to help them gain performance experience, and they still perform together occasionally.
After just under two years as an idol, Nani suddenly became one of the senior members following the graduations of Chiffon and Kechon. Despite her anxieties, she took on this responsibility and worked hard for the group. Since then, both management and the duo have had little time to work on Nani’n’Nerun?. Nani has expressed interest in pursuing other activities in the future, such as livestreaming and game streaming.
Nani also runs a solo project called NaniQ., under which she released a single on December 20, 2024. She occasionally performs as NaniQ.
Nani’s goal is to help more people discover You’ll Melt More! and their music. She hopes listeners can find comfort in the lyrics and wants to reach those who are struggling, such as middle school students and working adults going through difficult times.
