Makoto (まこと) is a Japanese idol and member of idolgroup You’ll Melt More! (ゆるめるモ！) where she represents the colour red. She joined the group on May 19, 2024, together with Raki.
Before becoming an idol she had been having trouble with school, her teacher would nag her about future plans so she thought by becoming an idol she could say that she has already decided on her future. Around that same time she applied for a parttime job but did not get it. Thinking she couldn't land a job and trouble at school made her think that maybe she can just make it as an idol. She decided to apply to You’ll Melt More! because it was the only idol group she knew and she wanted to join an already established group. Watching the audition stream, Heso would be the first to recommend Makoto to join.
Makoto has a fondness for unusual music, rather than liking specific genres she likes music that has a specific feel. She enjoys looking for music that is obscure with a small amount of plays. She is especially a fan of songs that use water like effects or create the sense of being underwater.
Makoto has spoken about wanting the group to reach a wider audience and appear in places where people who are not yet fans can discover them, such as television or large festival stages. On a personal level, she has expressed interest in creating music herself. However, she has said that she does not necessarily want to sing, and instead would like to make instrumental music without lyrics that focuses on sounds she personally enjoys.
