Raki (らき) is a Japanese idol and singer and a member of You’ll Melt More! (ゆるめるモ！).
She was announced as a new member on May 19, 2024, together with Makoto, during a special event introducing the group’s new lineup. Within the group she represents the color purple.
According to her official profile, her birthday is February 18, she is 157 cm tall, and her blood type is A.
One unusual detail from her profile is her answer to the question “When do you melt?” Her response is 犬吸い (inu-sui), which refers to burying one’s face in a dog’s fur.
Background and Motivation
Raki’s path to becoming an idol was not the result of a straightforward childhood dream.
In interviews she explained that her older sister was an idol, and she once hoped they could perform together. At the same time, she believed that she personally might not be suited for the idol world.
During that period she was not attending school and mostly observed idol culture from a distance. She once attempted an audition related to her sister’s activities but withdrew before completing it.
Later she discovered that You’ll Melt More! was holding auditions again, and because she already knew and liked the group, she decided to apply.
Discovering You’ll Melt More!
Raki has said that she originally became interested in the group because she was a fan of Ano, a former member of You’ll Melt More!.
After discovering Ano, she began listening to more songs by the group and watching their performances. She described the group as feeling very different from other idol acts she had seen, which made a strong impression on her.
When her own membership in the group was announced, some fans commented that she resembled Ano. Raki said this gave her mixed feelings. She appreciated the attention but also hoped to be recognized as her own person, rather than compared to someone else.
Personality and Performance
Raki describes herself as someone who is quiet and shy when speaking, but who constantly has many thoughts.
She often finds it difficult to express her feelings verbally, sometimes stopping herself mid-sentence because she wonders whether she should say something at all. Because of this, she says writing often feels easier than speaking.
She also describes herself as somewhat negative by nature, and sometimes doubts her own ability when watching other groups perform. Despite this, she has a strong desire to improve and grow as a performer.
Relationships within the Group
In interviews, Raki has spoken openly about her impressions of other members.
She says she admires Nerun and Nani because they are able to clearly express their thoughts. She describes Heso as someone who always seems to be thinking seriously, sometimes giving off the feeling of a manga character depending on her hairstyle. She describes Meari as gentle but internally strong, and someone who often helps correct dance details during practice.
Music and Favorite Songs
One song Raki frequently highlights is Only You, which she says resonates strongly with her emotionally.
She tends to prefer songs that express strong feelings and sincerity. When she first joined the group, she had to learn nearly one hundred songs from the existing catalog, which she described as extremely challenging at first. Over time, however, she began to feel more confident performing them.
Creative Interests
Beyond live performances, Raki is interested in fashion and visual work.
She has expressed interest in appearing in magazines and modeling different styles of clothing. She appeared in Harajuku POP MAGAZINE vol.16, where she wore clothing from the brand pays des fées.
She also appeared in the music video “100種類のラブソング” by 先生たすけて in December 2025. The video marked her first appearance in a solo-style music video, and she even learned guitar for the filming.

Raki hopes to continue improving as a performer and gain more confidence on stage.
She has also expressed interest in writing lyrics, with the goal of creating words that listeners can relate to and that might make them feel a little lighter emotionally.
