Yumikon (ゆみこーん) was a former idol and founding member of the idol group You’ll Melt More! Yumikon joined the group on October 4, 2012 and made her debut on December 29 of the same year, she represented the green colour in the group.
In an interview with Ototoy she stated that she was scouted for the group whilst shopping in Harajuku. When she came out of a store a man (Taichi Take田家大知) called out to her, asking her if she would be interested in being an idol. She at first declined the offer but when the man asked her what else she wanted to be she answered “a writer”. They spoke about writing and she got invited to meet the other recruits. After which she met the other girls and decided to stay.
At Yumikon’s birthday even on July 20, 2013 she would leave early due to health reasons, she would make her return on August 4, 2013 at a release party for the HELLO WORLD EP at Tower Records Akihabara. Hower on August 9, 2014 she would be absent again due to health reasons.
On December 17, 2014 Yumikon would announce her graduation. She states her health as a reason to leave, as something in her personal life has pushed her to her limits. She would take her time to recover and intended to find a new place where she can be herself, without trying to be something she is not. She will continue to silently cheer for the success of You’ll Melt More!
The group held a graduation ceremony on December 26, 2014 and a farewell party on January 25, 2015. Both of which she could sadly not attend.
