Tanaka Shirome (田中しろめ) is the leader and choreographer of idol group Odoro. She debuted in the idol scene as a trainee member of Love Android (ラブアンドロイド) under the name Miyu (みゆ), and was also active as a DJ under the name DJMiyungo (DJみゆんご). Her member color is light blue-gray. She likes Snoopy, Pingu, Shaun the Sheep, Penelope, taking walks, and shisha.
Tanaka Shirome, from here on Shirome-chan, originally wanted to become a model. While signed to a modeling agency, someone suggested that she could become an idol instead, leading her to explore the idol world. Even before becoming an idol she enjoyed attending live performances by bands and had a strong interest in dancing. After experiencing the excitement of performing on stage and dancing in front of an audience herself, she decided to continue pursuing idol activities.
From the fourth grade of elementary school until her second year of high school, Shirome practiced rhythmic gymnastics. The sport required her to create her own routines and choreography, giving her valuable experience in performance composition from a young age. This background also made her notably flexible and would later lead to her becoming the choreographer of her idol group.
In October 2015 she joined Love Android as a trainee member under the name Miyu. Although she never officially debuted with the group, she remained grateful for the opportunity and later thanked Love Android for allowing her to be part of the project. Sometime after entering the idol scene, Shirome began working as a DJ under the name DJMiyungo
On September 30, 2017, Shirome debuted as a founding member of Odoro and adopted the name Tanaka Shirome. Within the group she became both the leader and choreographer, applying the skills she had developed through years of rhythmic gymnastics.
Shirome describes herself as someone who sometimes comes across as rude because she tends to say exactly what she thinks. While she tries not to hurt people's feelings, she believes honesty is important and values speaking sincerely.
As a member of Odoro, Shirome has often spoken about her desire for the group to reach new audiences. She hopes that people who have never heard of the group before will discover them and think, "Odoro was great!" At the same time, she wants to continue making long-time supporters smile and feel happy through the group's activities. Above all, Shirome continues to work hard so that the group she loves can be discovered by even more people in the future.
