Nakagawa Luna (仲川瑠夏) is a Japanese idol and a founding member of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER. She is also a former founding member of Tokyo Viral, iwi, and Kuusou to Mousou to Kimi no Koi Shita Sekai, where she was active under the name Nakatani Luna (仲谷瑠夏). She graduated from iwi in June 2018 and from Kuusou to Mousou to Kimi no Koi Shita Sekai on July 7, 2021. In 2023, she was selected as a member of @JAM’s special unit, Natsu no Tsuki wo Yumemite.
Luna’s special skill is perfect pitch, and her hobbies include watching movies, singing, and drawing. She has a strong focus on music and worked especially hard on improving her singing before joining FRUITS ZIPPER.
She studied abroad in the United States during both high school and university. She had always been interested in foreign cultures and languages from a young age and was inspired by the atmosphere and personalities of people in America. During her time abroad, she experienced memorable events, such as being hospitalized with the flu during high school and accidentally wandering into a dangerous area in Atlanta during university, where she was chased by a stranger.
Before joining FRUITS ZIPPER, Luna had already been active as an idol, but after taking a break, she decided to return because she wanted to challenge herself in a new environment and push herself further than before. She joined the group after being scouted while auditioning for various opportunities.
She says that the person who has influenced her the most as a performer is Dwayne Johnson. She admires his strength, humor, and dedication to entertaining audiences, and aims to bring the same level of enjoyment and energy to her own performances.
Her goals are to appear in a fashion magazine and to become more active both as part of the group and as an individual performer.
