Nerun Poku Poku

Nerun Poku Poku (ねるんポクぽく) is the self-produced solo project of Nerun (ねるん), a member of You'll Melt More!. The project was launched in September 2021. Nerun handles all aspects of the project herself, including artwork, lyrics, composition, video direction, and video editing.

The project draws from the new wave influences associated with You'll Melt More! while incorporating hip-hop, experimental pop, and rock elements. Songs frequently revolve around playful or everyday themes — early releases included Anata no Katana, in which Nerun lists things a sword is not, and Jaga Jaga Jagaimo, centered on potatoes.

The project released several digital singles throughout 2021 and onward, with "おぷろやだよ" released on November 23, 2024, marking the tenth digital single under the Nerun PokuPoku name. The song humorously focuses on a girl who finds taking a bath annoying, and its music video was filmed at Kamata Onsen. On December 22, 2024, Nerun held the first solo live performance under the project name at Takinogawa Inariyu, a public bathhouse in Tokyo, matching the theme of the single. In February 2025, the project released its first full album, ねるんモシもし (Nerun MoshiMoshi), collecting earlier singles alongside new material including UFOUFOUFO, かぞえうた (Count Numbers in Japanese!), and アナタノカタナ.
