About IRU
IRU serves as the white-coded member of the rock idol group Zen Zero Ranker. Within the group, she is affectionately referred to as the “baby voice,” a description that captures her soft and distinctive vocal tone.
Before joining Zen Zero Ranker, IRU was a member of the Japanese idol group Treble, where she gained experience performing and engaging with fans.
In addition to her idol activities, she operates her own clothing brand called Newro Nova, reflecting her interest in fashion and independent creative expression.
IRU has described herself as someone who finds it difficult to verbalise her thoughts. Rather than expressing herself through words, she lets her music and performance speak for her.
Personality and Interests
Though she is gentle in voice, IRU has a strong and surprising affinity for heavy music, especially thrash metal. She regularly listens to the genre and enjoys introducing her favourite thrash metal albums to fans, creating an intriguing contrast between her soft singing style and heavier musical taste.
Among the things she has mentioned loving are summer and cumulonimbus clouds, revealing an atmospheric and expressive side to her personality.
Even though she feels she isn’t great at articulating her thoughts verbally, her devotion to music and creative self-expression demonstrates a steady and genuine determination to grow.
Activities
In February 2026, IRU participated in live performances as part of Zen Zero Ranker’s pre-debut build-up. She also carried out a personal acoustic singing countdown project leading up to the group’s official debut, giving fans a more intimate exposure to her voice.
Zen Zero Ranker officially debuted on March 1, 2026, and IRU has continued performing live while working toward the group’s long-term ambition of becoming a leading rock idol act in Tokyo.
