Idol group THE PINK MINDS has announced the addition of two new members following auditions, officially expanding the lineup from three to five members as of April 20, 2026. The reveal took place during TOKYO PINK FES!.
The group, produced by Oomori Seiko and originally debuted in 2024, continues to grow with the introduction of Cure TaKaNa (キュアタカナ) and Omi Tamaki (近江環). Cure TaKaNa, who represents the colour Heroine Red, brings a unique background to the group. Alongside her idol activities, she is also a professional boxer affiliated with Yokohama Hikari Boxing Gym, where she became the gym’s first female pro fighter. After working as a child actress, idol, model, and cosplayer, she now returns to the idol stage.
In her announcement, she shared:
“I want to deliver music where each person can become the main character. If you ever feel like you can’t be the protagonist, please let me be your heroine.”
Omi Tamaki, representing the colour Frozen Queen, is a former founding member of the idol group GaCHU!!!, from which she graduated in December 2025. Starting her new journey, she now joins THE PINK MINDS with strong resolve. She commented:
“I will absolutely grow bigger in this place. I want to live together with you.”
With two new members joining through auditions, THE PINK MINDS steps into a new era as a five-member group, continuing to evolve under Oomori’s vision.
