Shion (紫音) is a Japanese solo idol and former founding member of the idol group Guso Drop (偶想Drop). She was part of the group from its formation until her departure in March 2016.
After nearly ten years away from idol activities, Shion announced her return on February 16, 2026, holding her first solo live at Shibuya RUSH. With permission from Guso Drop founder President Hasegawa to perform the group’s songs in her solo sets, she began rebuilding her career from the ground up through solo appearances at rock idol and visual kei events in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
In her own statements, Shion has described this return as a deliberate process of performing as many lives as possible in order to regain her former skills, reconnect with fans from a decade ago, and meet new supporters. At the same time, she has been searching for composers and other creators to help develop original music that meets her standards. She is currently in what she calls a “demonstration period,” and is actively seeking collaborators in composition, lyrics, arrangement, and production.
