Hatsune Shiosaki (汐崎初音) is a Japanese idol and a member of the idol group NUANCE, where she represents the color purple. She joined the group on April 1, 2022. Her Mirai animal is an owl. Her hobbies include watching anime and YouTube, and her special skills are dancing, waking up early, and using chopsticks.
According to Kyomi (蓮水恭美), Hatsune is the serious member of NUANCE. When things get tough, she is the one who takes the lead and reassures others that everything will be okay. At the same time, she is also charming and occasionally says unexpected or quirky things.
She has spoken about feeling strong pressure to quickly “become a NUANCE member” after joining, due to the group’s long history. Before the graduation of former member Waka Kawai, she carefully considered how she could embody what NUANCE represents. However, as the group transitioned from a five-member lineup to the current four-member formation and she took on a more leading role, her perspective changed. She came to believe that, rather than trying to become NUANCE, it is more important to express the “NUANCE within herself.”
She views NUANCE not only as an idol group, but also as a group of artists. Looking toward the future, she hopes to go beyond traditional boundaries, perform at larger venues, gain many more fans, and increase the group’s popularity. She has also expressed a desire to expand NUANCE’s reach beyond Japan, with the goal of bringing Yokohama to audiences around the world.
