BELLRING Shoujo Heart

BELLRING Shoujo Heart (BELLRING少女ハート), sometimes referred to as Bellring Girls Heart, is a Japanese idol group formed in April 2012 in Tokyo. The group is part of the underground and alternative idol scene, combining idol music with rock and experimental pop elements, incorporating influences including rockabilly, surf rock, psychedelia, and Britpop across a varied and unpredictable discography. Their live performances were known for raw energy and spontaneity, with members sometimes breaking formation and interacting freely with the audience rather than adhering to polished choreography. The group also developed a distinctive visual identity, with members frequently appearing in black outfits featuring feather-like or crow-inspired designs.

The group remained active until December 31, 2016, when they disbanded following multiple lineup changes. Several former members subsequently formed THERE THERE THERES, continuing a similar experimental and alternative approach. In 2022, the project briefly returned as BELLRING Shoujo Heart '22 to mark the group's 10th anniversary, and in 2023 the name was revived again with a completely new lineup, beginning a new generation of the group.
